"I booked the house for the Marji Gesick mountain bike race. I had five friends travel with me as a support crew. The house was excellent for our needs. Plenty of beds and 1.5 bathrooms. A well stocked and large kitchen and plenty of living space. Outdoors was a nice grill, screened in house on the lake and a canoe. I caught a pike right off the dock Friday! "Adorable little house in a nice neighborhood. Close to downtown Negaunee with all of it's cute shops and restaurants. It is also close to the Iron Ore Heritage Trail which we spent our days riding bike on. We really appreciated that the property was dog friendly. Our hosts even had a basket of dog toys there for the pups entertainment!"

"We loved everything about this home and the surrounding property. As others have mentioned - it's a good 30 minutes to any neighboring towns, so we made sure plan our meals ahead and brought groceries with us. The house is lovely, spacious and was perfect for our 3 generations and two dogs. It was exactly as described and we enjoyed seeing the deer cross the lawn, beautiful sunrises across the basin and the comfortable indoor/outdoor seating options! We hope to be back again some time!"

"This place was amazing with the water on both sides. It offered something for everyone in our group kyaking, fishing, bonfires. Parking was a bit tight as we had four trucks and trailers with side by sides but we were able to make it work. We had a wonderful time riding the trails during the day and hanging out playing cards and sitting around the campfire at night. Would love to come back during the summer and again next fall. a great hangout spot "

"The location is quiet and private.There are 5 cottages and a main house so you have some privacy. The cottages are nice and have all your necessities. The view of the lake is beautiful! We all enjoyed our stay at Elemental on beautiful Shag Lake! Our host George was helpful and communication was perfect! "

"Great location for ice fishing and snowmobile riding. Up North Lodge restaurant/bar is only minutes away with a great menu selection.We rented two cabins which were perfect for our party of 8. Kitchens are a bit small, but have everything you need for cooking meals. Host was great to work with."
