"We stayed in this house during the winter and it was spectacular! We were able to ice skate on the frozen lake and drink hot chocolate by the fire place. But the house has everything you need for the summer! It is also very well stocked if you like to cook. The house was absolutely perfect for our family of 8! Looking forward to coming next summer!"

I.e., ""stove top" means range top, no oven; "TV" means tv and VCR, no cable or broadcast access. (We did enjoy some of the old VHS and DVDs provided). Better directions to house would have helped especially after dark. We'd rent this location again."

"We came to the area to ride snowmobiles. The host was very accommodating for us and even gave us tips on how to get to the trails. We had a few mechanical issues but the host was very friendly with checking in to make sure we were enjoying our stay and gave us suggestions on where to find parts for our machines to get us back on the trails. The property was just as described. We had a real wood fire at night (bonus points for a real wood fireplace!) and we could hear the waves of Lake Superior...

"I booked the house for the Marji Gesick mountain bike race. I had five friends travel with me as a support crew. The house was excellent for our needs. Plenty of beds and 1.5 bathrooms. "Had a great time at this property. We had a very seamless check in. Owners are very thoughtful, having everything in the house that you could need while there. They were very quick to respond to texts while there when we tripped a circuit breaker. Property is not too far from Escanaba for picking up necessities. "The home was spotless, and the beds and other furniture were very comfortable. When we arrived, there was a little glitch with the access code, but the host called me right after being notified of the issue, and he fixed it remotely in about a minute! There are many little thoughtful touches such as shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers in the shower, filled ice cube trays in the freezer, and extra fans in each bedroom.
