"Where can I begin? Our stay was nothing short of magical. It was an amazing experience from the moment we stepped off of the plane, to our sad farewells on our last day. We didn't have a hard time locating Vaughn holding the Ladera sign at the airport (he was right there at the exit). As soon as we got in the cab we were offered chilled beverages and got to relax and enjoy the 45 minute scenic ride. The check-in process was seamless! Sherin was there waiting for us, with the famous and delicious Ladera punch. She was an absolute sweetheart and laughed and celebrated with us upon our first look at our room. I must say that the hospitality at this resort is out of this world. We felt very familiar with everyone. The room was absolutely perfect. Beyond my expectations and even more spectacular than the pictures! Before arriving I was worried about hearing our neighbors or having them hear us but I never heard anyone else. It felt like we had the resort all to ourselves. It was fully booked for Valentine's day so I was pleasantly surprised that it still felt so intimate and secluded. The room felt cozy despite their not being a 4th wall. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner privately at our table next to the pool with the gorgeous view! The room had everything we needed, but we still ventured out and explored the property. We fully enjoyed the nature trail and all of the other amenities there. I want to go back tomorrow. "Such a beautiful setting with excellent hospitality. We loved our very private cabin (Calabash) nestled amongst the rainforests. The resort respected its history and delicate ecological spaces. Every staffer went above and beyond. We felt cared for and appreciated as guests, this by far was a bright and shing star in all our travels. Meals were delicious, properly prepared albeit a limited menu. Loved the nightly chef's specials. Housekeepers were very attentive and responsive to our needs with clean crisp sheets and shiny floors. My wife and I were so relaxed. This is not a cookie cutter, everything brand new, corporate-owned resort. The owners (Mr. and Mrs. LaMontagne) were lovely people. We want to thank everyone on the resort for sharing such a beautiful island retre"

"Historic and beautiful house. Charles, estate manager gave us the wonderful tour of the plantation and its history. The property itself is well maintained and surrounding by lush green forest that made our stay peaceful and relaxing. "

"Another amazing visit. Vinel, Sorin, Gregory, Daelisha (sp), Mike, Garvin, George were all kind, professional and responsive even when I extended my stay. Great view, customer service, delicious food and secluded location. In the future, I’d love a cleaner pool, extra towels and little amenities such as a dust pan and brown and extra garbage bags for the kitchen. Would definitely suggest this spot over a resort. "

"We had a fantastic stay at 7th Heaven Kitchen & Cottage just before Easter 2024. The property is located in a small village on the southern slopes of Gros Piton. There is the green cottage and loft building, both were clean and there were US power adapters available along with WiFi. The yard is filled with a variety of tropical fruit trees, flowering plants and a small vegetable garden with humming birds and other local birds buzzing around. Our host Paul cooked excellent Saint Lucian creole style breakfasts and dinners, better than similar meals we had elsewhere. Map apps on phones worked and we could navigate to a dropped pin for the property easily. This is a great base for exploring the south western part of the island. Chocolate project, drive in Volcano and starting points for the Gros Piton hike are all close by. There is a bakery in the village and short drive down to a locals beach with reasonable snorkeling. Sugarbeach and Soufriere are close by too. The host, Paul, gave us a great introduction to the island and answered any questions we had. We especially enjoyed the sweet green coconuts he gave us. We had a great time staying here and it was a nice alternative to hotels."

"This was a wonderful experience for our small family!! I can't say enough about our hostess and her family. They made our stay the most wonderful part of our week in Saint Lucia. If you go and want experience Saint Lucia without the tourists, but with the natural beauty and the vitality of the local culture you should consider staying here. We felt looked after, but not invasively. The home-cooked meal that Vinaya arranged was so lovely and the many other things that she and her family made possible..the best!"

"We found it a little difficult to find the place, as there are no addresses. But once we found it, we were amazed. Denise was a grwat host and was available to answer our queations. The place was clean and well appointed. Wi-fi was spotty, duw to the concrete walls of the house. Not that it mattered much, because the view of Petit Piton is overwhelmingly cool! I can't say enough about that view! The house feels like a secluded, luxorious tree house, set into the forest. The pool was nice to cool off! Lots of stairs, so might not be the best place for small kids. Sunsets around Petit Piton were beautiful. One of ths best houses we have ever rented, and I can't wait to return!"
