"Where can I begin? Our stay was nothing short of magical. It was an amazing experience from the moment we stepped off of the plane, to our sad farewells on our last day. We didn't have a hard time locating Vaughn holding the Ladera sign at the airport (he was right there at the exit). As soon as we got in the cab we were offered chilled beverages and got to relax and enjoy the 45 minute scenic ride. The check-in process was seamless! Sherin was there waiting for us, with the famous and delicious Ladera punch. She was an absolute sweetheart and laughed and celebrated with us upon our first look at our room. I must say that the hospitality at this resort is out of this world. We felt very familiar with everyone. The room was absolutely perfect. Beyond my expectations and even more spectacular than the pictures! Before arriving I was worried about hearing our neighbors or having them hear us but I never heard anyone else. It felt like we had the resort all to ourselves. It was fully booked for Valentine's day so I was pleasantly surprised that it still felt so intimate and secluded. The room felt cozy despite their not being a 4th wall. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner privately at our table next to the pool with the gorgeous view! The room had everything we needed, but we still ventured out and explored the property. We fully enjoyed the nature trail and all of the other amenities there. I want to go back tomorrow. "I have never left a review before, but this property must receive one! We stayed in the Flamboyant Villa which is a Piton Ocean View Villa if I remember how I booked it correctly! Upon arrival, we were greeted with a personal driver at the airport. He was very easy to spot as our name was on a board. I simply emailed the resort ahead of time to secure the airport transfer. It took about 45 mins to get to Stonefield and once arriving, we were greeted with a welcome drink (local lemonade—to die for!) and a cold hand towel while we got checked in. We then had a driver take us to our villa which was not far away but God forbid we walk there (never on their watch!) When walk into the villa, we were in an open air front porch balcony area with a dining table and hammock with outstanding views of the ocean and pitons. You go through another door and you have a full kitchen, dining room, and living area. This space is not air conditioned but it’s also not open air. It’s like open air but protected if that makes sense. Off to our left, we could exit outdoors to our own private pool with lounge chairs and amazing views. Our bedroom had his and hers closets, a safe, a canopy king size bed, and ice cold AC! We had a large bathroom with a double sink & outstanding outdoor shower! (My husband’s fave!) We were exactly 63 stairs away from the resort’s restaurant, The Mango Tree which we ate at every single day for at least one meal. We met many people who came to eat at Mango Tree! "
