"I don't know where to start. I'm not generally one to stay at a days in ( previous negative visits ) I looked at the website , read the reviews and took a leap of faith . I'm so Happy I did !! This motel was fabulous. Recently renovated , easy check in , warm and welcoming staff from the front desk to the maintenance crew. My room was very clean, I found the beds and pillows To be very comfortable. Breakfast was your basic eggs, meat breads oatmeal and juice. To my disappointment, most hotels are moving away from the waffles to the pancake maker. Not my favorite. Pour some syrup on cardboard. The grounds are well maintained. The pools and patio furniture cleaned daily. Only one pool was opened during my stay. The beach is a very short walk. ** My one recommendation, if you're going to pay extra for an ocean view room get one on the second floor. The ocean is Not visible from the first 1st floor primarily because of the sand dunes. The island is beautiful and there is plenty to explore. Remember, you're on island time ! Enjoy"

"We love staying at the Villas but this time our bed was not comfortable. My husband even said “horrible”. Each unit, however is unique. So this doesn’t mean all beds there are bad."

"Jekyll Island is a beautiful and peaceful island. The Westin has recently undergone renovations and sits next to a nice, small shopping area overlooking the ocean. A great value for such a nice hotel at such a reasonable rate."
