"Lovely room although a bit noisy. Not much sound proofing so could hear the people next door very clearly and the tv late at night. The staff were very friendly, the pool a bonus, and a good location to get into Cardiff. A fridge in the room would be useful and where kettle is stationed, there are no plug sockets. We liked the decor and the building is pretty. Overall a lovely stay and would recommend."

"I have stayed here twice before. The welcome from Lyndon is great. The breakfast is freshly cooked and plenty of it. Beds are comfortable and the bathroom was clean. However the wardrobe was in need of repair and the fridge had old food in it. The bedside cabinets had a layer of dust but I base my review on comfort and hospitality "

"First the bad bits-its past history as an hostel clearly shows, especially when you notice staff only inhabit the property, thrice daily before leaving, causing mess to linger for upto six hours. "Very tastefully furnished rooms. Comfy beds, adequate showers and all we needed for an overnight stay. Just a pity that the rooms lacked lighting - a change of lightbulbs would make all the difference. Enjoyed a great evening meal in the pub."
