"Excellent location, walkable from the train station. Some trouble checking in & room wasn't as described but was sorted out the next day. Most staff were on the ball and very congenial. Food was excellent, afternoon tea was delicious, highly recommend the tea salon in the main restaurant. Lovely area, very historic and close to shopping and dining for a nice walk. "

"Friendly staff, clean room, very comfy bed. The outside looks delapidated and carpets in the passageways are old and a bit grubby. The lift was small and the lift doors could do with painting. The signage could do with updating. They are obviously trying to upgrade everything but the room could have had a new lampshade on the room light and pull string in the bathroom. The room wall table could do with a paint or restaining. The wardrobe internal shelf should be painted."

"Just right for my needs. Good location for access to town plus free parking. Unfortunately I did have noisy people in adjoining rooms who played loud music and the room the other side had tv on loud but that’s the lack of concern for others that’s all too common now and not the fault of the guest house. Breakfast was good and staff polite and helpful."

"My husband and I decided to visit Kent because my family still live here.We stayed in Sandgate which I know well and we ate at the local Indian which was amazing.We ate and drank at the John Dorey wine bar.We also had a drink at the Docker.Sandgate is really a great place to visit in the evening it’s really busy.I can honestly say our visit was perfect.Our accommodation was so refreshing , it was perfect in every way.I would say, though it was perfect for us there are steps to the accommodation...
