We found our stay at the WyCliffe Guest House to be extremely pleasant and comfortable. The manager and owner (I guess) was very nice and the breakfast was very good. We can highly recommend this accommodation and would book there again on our next visit to England.
We loved the friendly welcome from the host - Sharon. She goes above and beyond for all your needs. We also loved the comfortable beds and delicious breakfast. We will definitely be back!
The property was easy to get to. Breakfast was good for the price. It's close to Folkestone Harbour. The only thing we didn't like is the parking is very limited.
Just right for my needs. Good location for access to town plus free parking. Unfortunately I did have noisy people in adjoining rooms who played loud music and the room the other side had tv on loud but that’s the lack of concern for others that’s all too common now and not the fault of the guest house. Breakfast was good and staff polite and helpful.
Stayed in Folkestone many times. This is the best!
Great place to stay for an overnight trip. The hostess was lovely and let us park early before check in. We got an upgrade too!
Didn’t stay for breakfast so can’t comment on that, but the hotel was clean, comfortable to a very high standard, and had everything we needed. We will stay again when we are in Folkestone.
A big welcome on arrival. Our room was extremely clean, spotless even. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was superb. Also, the hotel is in close proximity to all the main features of the town.
Great location for Eurotunnel, and has off road parking which is helpful. Pleasant check in and helpful staff member. Only issue was shower pressure, very low but still functional
Stayed at the Wycliffe before jumping onto the eurotunnel, rooms were clean and the landlady very friendly. Would recommend the hearty breakfast and the location 5 minute walk to the beach and 10 minutes to the eurotunnel. Alltogether a good spot and was a nice rest after travelling down from Manchester before France

Fantastic stay !!
The owner was absolutely lovely. She welcomed us and our dog like family.
The hotel in a beautiful large Victorian house, the bedroom was huge with en-suite bathroom.
Everywhere spotlessly clean, very comfortable bed.
Brilliant location, 15 minutes frommain high street

Liked: Amenities
Haven’t stayed in a guest house for a while: how refreshing, so much better than the stale old hotel chains, et al. Lovely attentive landlady, fabulous location near sea front, dog friendly, parking outside, bar available, just smashing. Good luck in keeping places like this going, loved it. T

Lovely, but
Lovely guest hotel with a very friendly and helpful host. But the room having a very small toilet room next door is not ensuite, the toilet roll holder was a battle to get any toilet paper and the low ceilings meant several bumped heads.
Breakfast was rather ordinary.
Very warm welcome.
Room was family room and we found it excelent for our needs, small barthroom but all very clean and functional. Beds very comfortable and nice quiet room.
breakfast very organised and good quality.
Excellant Stay, a very warm, friendly welcome on our arrival even though we we're a late evening arrival. Bteakfast was first class and cooked to perfection (full english) and good value. Lovely big Victorian House but with all modern decor and facilities. A very pleasurable if not too short a stay.
Great hotel, very friendly and helpful welcome when we arrived. Was able to bring the motorcycles into the garden for extra security. Would highly recommend this hotel. Tea and coffee in the room was much appreciated 👍
Only stayed one night, but it was comfortable and clean. Service was friendly and good. My only slight disappointment was that the private bathroom was separate from the bedroom, but still reserved only for us. The Hotels.com website said separate 'bedroom', not bathroom. Only a minor matter, otherwise everything good.
