"Our stay was comfortable check in was ok could have been a bit more friendly but all other times we interacted with front desk was very friendly and helpful our room was spotless and very comfortable the restaurant's evening menu was was a bit limited but breakfast was excellent with a great choice to fill you up staff at breakfast were fantastic check out was quick and simple will return in the future "

"First was the reception lady who assisted my check in, it was terrible because i feel that i am not welcome to the place. No greetings and is not approachable. but when I finished she politely greeted other guest next to me. (White guest). "Really nice location. Not too busy. Rooms were nice and warm. Linen could be better as there were iron marks and other black marks present. Staff was incredibly polite and nothing was too much. Breakfast was really nice and fresh. Only dienside was that you had to wait a while for the hot food to be topped up."

"Hotel is just across the road to the park and ride that's great the room was ok but could have done with a hover as had crumbs on the floor by tv and side of the bed. We had dinner at hotel curry but its was just like what you get as cheap meal from a supermarket in a microwave and at £25 each was not cheap that was a let down "

"Booked a last minute stay and decided on The Queen at Chester and im glad we did. Hotel was lovely and clean, all staff friendly and polite. We got a complimentary room upgrade on arrival. We only had a slight issue in that we went up for another drink during breakfast and staff thought we left and cleared our table so when we came back someone else was sat there. But we got a new table no problem! And breakfast was lovely with lots of choice. Would definitely recommend and stay here again."

"We loved the location and the rooms,we had a room overlooking the River Dee. The room looked to be clean on anrrival but around the edges was full of dust and the bathroom again just needed that little extra touch. Check in was easy and friendly. Bonus was free parking. Just unfortunate the restaurant was closed (we did know about this) Overall we would stay again."
