"Having just got home from a long road trip, this was a pleasant surprise. Having restored a 100-year-old house. I can appreciate everything that has been done to the structure. The only thing I have to say is that is missing a bottle opener for wine and the can opener does not work. Other than that a very nice house in a very nice location"

"My son and I had a wonderful time staying in this lovely ranch house in the Panoche Valley. I’ve always felt this area was the last piece of the old west, complete with cattle, tumbleweeds, roadrunners, and ravens. When you get away here, you really do get away from it all.. We definitely could have stayed longer. The house was very comfortable and my son liked the loft, though I wouldn’t recommend it for younger children since there isn’t a railing. "I try and stay in Los Banos on my way up or down I-5. It's such a cute charming town that no one knows about. It's about 10 minutes off I-5 so I guess most people just drive on thru. And this motel is the best! Charming historic architecture inside and out, beautiful potted plants everywhere, and very nice owners.And so far, still quite affordable. Be sure to check out the "old town" just a few blocks from the motel."
