"The stay here was very peaceful. Various birds on the water. Spotted a fox roaming the shoreline. Enjoyed morning coffee sitting at the kitchen table looking at the lake. We had a brilliant sunset the first evening we were there. While being remote we enjoyed the closeness of Ithaca and the historic village of Aurora. If you enjoy art, check out the Herbert F. "The house was in a convenient location to several of the wineries we wanted to visit and a comfortable size for the two of us. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to use the back porch and private yard because of the cold and snow, but it would be wonderful during nice weather. Our only issue was with the road noise. The house is directly on Highway 14, which makes for noticeable road noise during the day, but better at night with less traffic. "

"The house was absolutely gorgeous. Big open floor plan plenty of room for the eight of us that were there. The host was absolutely phenomenal as far as giving advice as to what was in the area along with knowledge of his house and even sent information prior to check-in. The check-in process was a breeze as we knew exactly what was going on before hand The house was immaculately clean, and you couldn’t ask for a more pleasant environment. "Everything was good except the bed mattress especially the bunk house were too hard and the pillows had no firmness. Maybe adding a foam topper and upgraded pillows would make a big difference. "

"There could have been some more pictures and a better description of condo. There is no lake access. I know it is winter but I would have liked to go there for a walk. Two pans and the toaster tray were dirty. Tub with shower were slippery due to liquid bath soap. Otherwise it was great. And I loved the view."

"We stayed for a few nights over the holidays. The space is a renovated antique barn with absolutely beautiful and rustic interior decoration. The bed was so comfy, we cooked a few meals in the apt as well, and enjoyed a lovely morning walk around the pond into the neighboring field/park they’ve cleared. Host was extremely responsive and easy to contact. We had a very lovely time!"
