The location is close to the Interstate and has a grocery store and restaurants nearby. The rooms are modern and updated. 24 hour brewed coffee and tea in the lobby. The breakfast is very good, tasty and many options. The staff are warm and welcoming. The only downside is that it is on a busy road and depending on the time of day it is a challenge to get out of the parking lot.

Pros: -The staff at the reception area are excellent. They are welcoming and efficient. -we enjoy the complimentary breakfast and 24 hr coffee/drinks bar. -The hotel bed and pillows were comfortable Cons: -there is a strong scent in the hallways. I am sensitive to smell so I didn’t appreciate that.

Our room smelled like mold and smoke. The drapes were stained at the bottoms, as if the the basement area (that’s where our room was, unbeknownst to me!), had been flooded. The hotel was supposed to be non smoking, but the whole place reeked of cigarettes. It was relatively clean, however, and the area was safe and convenient to Salem.
