"Had to pay for an upgrade of room on arrival as they had allocated me the worst possible room they had without any windows on third floor. They wouldn't give me a receipt for the extra 720 Yuans I paid so it obviously went straight in their pocket. Communication was difficult, but is like that in China generally. "I was only there for about 4 hours as i was taking the morning train and arrived late into Beijing. I would call it standard business hotel and found nothing objectionable about it. You still need to take a taxi to the train station. Not far but allow time for traffic coming into train station"
