"Convenient location, easy walk to subway and shopping. Breakfast was good. Front desk staff was helpful. Beds were just a box spring no matress, felt like sleeping on a door. Bathroom smelled, was not ventilated. "

"House was perfect to suit our needs of traveling with three families. Lots of space and well equipped and stocked with everything one might need. Host was timely and thorough in her communication, and even helped to arrange food delivery and transportation. Proximity to ski resort was excellent as well. Will definitely be back!"

"It was a lovely stay. 1. Cozy experience, great people, away from the city hustle bustle. 2. Amazing head chef: He treated us like we are his family. We had specific dietary requirements (Indian vegetarian). He cooked special dishes for us in the breakfast buffet. The special meal charges were also super reasonable 3. Close to the Great Wall 4. The hotel is in a small village - head there if you would like leisurely walks and relaxation. Don't expect great amenities that a city hotel would...

"It is in a perfect location for eating, shopping, and seeing what the “real” Beijing is like. The old neighborhood is full of wonderful little shops and eateries, and at night full of people enjoying the sights, sounds, and foods of the city. The rooms were newly renovated with modern amenities and very comfortable, but the building still retained its original architectural style that felt cozy and secure.
