"Favorite place I've stayed in Nola. Right in the middle of bourbon street but if you get an interior facing room it's quiet and you wouldn't know you are on bourbon. Spacious clean room, good size bathroom, helpful staff, comfortable bed, great pool with bar. Definitely will stay again."

"Hotel was very nice. Our room was HUGE and nicely furnished. Every member of staff from the front desk, bartenders, waitress and valet gentlemen outside were professional, friendly and courteous. The location of the hotel is great (within walking distance to the French Quarter but in an area which is quite quiet) and within walking distance of lots of great restaurants. The rooftop pool was awesome and was welcome after a day of lots of walking around."

"We love everything about this property. It is easy to walk to any main attractions. We walked along the river to the French Quarters, shopping, eating, and all the Jazz bars. After the nice excursion, we can come back to our nice room and have our PEACE and QUIET. The room is so comfortable- the space, the bed. Bounus- the bar is lively with Great drinks options for non alcohol drinker. The food is excellent !! We love the Po-boy shrimp sandwich. "

"Location was great, towels at the pool were fluffy, and they welcome cookies were phenomenal. We got the corner suite on discount and it was huge! Great value, comfy bed, and 2 bathrooms in the suite. The $25 resort fee comes back as a f&b credit and the bar drinks were not insanely expensive. Burger for lunch from the bar was really tasty."

"Hotel Monteleone is a beautiful, historic hotel conveniently located in the French Quarter. We were able to walk everywhere, while also stopping back at the hotel throughout the day to drop off our shopping treasures or just take a break from the humidity. The Carousel Bar & Lounge was awesome! I read a review that said it’s busy no matter when you go, and I’d have to agree. We tried three or four times (different days as well as different times of the day) and it was busy every time. We finally got a spot at the bar on Saturday around 11:30am (it opens at 11am) and only because we got lucky and someone at the bar offered to trade for our table. The drinks and food were delicious! We were hoping for a ghost sighting, especially since we were there on Halloween. Unfortunately, we did not have any paranormal experiences, but we had fun trying! A couple staff members were helpful in our quest—showing us a picture of a ghost in the hallway, telling us about their spooky experiences, and one even took us to a ballroom where a man’s ghost has been spotted. We didn’t see the man, but we did get a spectacular view of the city! My only regret is not taking a dip in the rooftop pool. It’s a beautiful outdoor pool located on the 16th floor of the Iberville Tower, with a poolside bar and fabulous views. Next time I’ll be sure not to miss out on taking a swim! Finally, the staff are amazing! I will be staying here again for sure! "
