"There was no one working at the hotel. Doors were locked and you had to have a cold to get in. Neither Expedia or the hotel gave me a cold. I did not stay because I couldn’t get in and had to go to another hotel. I will be filing a claim to be reimbursed, absolutely terrible experience, considering being in a foreign country where I did not speak the language plus I have poor visibility/poor vision. "

"Overall a very pleasant stay. Good location within 10 minute walk to beach and 3 minute walk to train station. No train noise at all. At check-in had issues reaching the property manager to fix a clogged kitchen sink and a broken electric window shutter, but once VRBO got involved these were addressed and for the most part the property was in good condition."

"Amazing place to stay in Ericeira. Walking distance to all the restaurants, grocerie stores. Stayed for a week with my family (husband and baby) and everything was pergect. Highly recommend taking the superior villa as the private pool is very nice. Host is great, excellent communication. We will be back for sure :)"

"I wish I had made this reservation first. My travels dates changed, so I reserved this apartment for the first two nights in Lisbon. It was delightful. The apartment is very cozy and cute. What was once the balcony is now an extra room with floor to ceiling sliding doors that allow you to enjoy the ocean air (and see the ocean too)! If I had known about this place sooner, I would have stayed here more days. Ana was also very kind and accomodating. I would definitely stay here again!"

"The washroom was not really clean. We could not throw our toilet paper in the toilet due to the host rule. Also, the AC didn’t work and the bed pillows were so hard to lay on. However, this place is not far from Cascais center and the neighbourhood is quiet! It’s easy to access to the building, its a great place if you want to stay for a few days. "

"Check in process was great. However the bedrooms bathrooms both smelt awful of mould and damp. We did mention this but they just came back with more towels. Each drain seemed to be blocked as every shower would over flow and cause problems within the bathroom. Everything else was great apart communication regarding checkout. "

"The entire apartment is completely updated. The balcony was my favorite place to have coffee in the morning and sunning in the afternoon. Fernando and Maria Jose are great hosts with many recommendations for shopping and places to eat. Short walk to water, shopping and train station. Coffee shop, excellent restaurant and convenience store just a few minutes walk. Highly recommend and would stay again in a heartbeat"

"This is a wonderful apartment and within walking distance to so many restaurants, shops, and the ocean. A couple minor suggestions we gave to the owners: there's a street light right outside the upstairs bedroom window so thicker/darker curtains might be nice, the wifi seems weaker upstairs, and the water temp in both showers seemed inconsistent. But overall, a very nice stay in a beautiful city."

"We stayed for 3 nights, the property itself is cozy, with a good use of space, however, access to the bedding area may be limited to able-bodied folks. We were given plenty privacy with access to the barbeque and private garden area. If we're ever in the area again, we'd absolutely stay here again."

"We enjoyed the property, but be prepared for lots of stairs. The property is well maintained but it is a tall and narrow building. Great views of the ocean. I think we had at least three days of green flashes! One very big drawback is that for some reason there are notices in every bathroom to NOT flush toilet paper. For someone not used to that, well... The Host should state that in the description, and honestly I don't know why this is an issue there I don't believe it is on a septic...
