"The hotel is a great location, you are able to park and easily Uber or walk to wherever you need to go without the hassle of trying to find parking in town. The hotel itself is gorgeous, the breakfast was very good, and we were greeted by peacocks at the front door, to the delight of our daughter. "

"This place is a true gem of Cascais. I booked this for my parents visiting for my father's Birthday. The staff were extremely welcoming and accomodating. They allowerd me to come prior to check in and decorate the room with some baloons. They left a welcome sparkling wine and macarons to celebrate. My parents said the bed was very comfy, the view from the balcony was a highlight and its proximity to all the sites of cascais town. Breakfast also fresh and plentiful Would highly recommend...

"Unique and interesting property. We stayed 2 days and received a complimentary upgrade to a large suite. Weather was rainy and cold, so we didn't get to enjoy the outdoor sitting area, but it looked lovely. Breakfast very good and our hostess congenial. Only criticism is that tables and chairs were very small and cramped for eating."

"We loved the Storytellers Villas. The location in Sintra was perfect for us, with the bus stop right across the plaza. Our villa had 2 rooms and 1 bathroom with plenty of hot water for washing dishes and showering at the same time. The beds were firm but not uncomfortable with plenty of pillows and extra blankets. "This hotel is basically a hostel and was just ok. The room we booked was on the third level and there was no air conditioning and it was very very hot. It was a short walk to our "guest house" along cobble stone streets but finding the check in counter at another location was difficult for our driver. Room was very bare bones but ok in cleanliness. "The best place if you want to visit Quinta da Regaleira, Pena Palace and Moorish Castle. Steps away from restaurants and shops. The bus stop is right next to the hotel. The service received was the best of all the hotels visited in Portugal. They helped us with everything, from before we arrived with specific instructions. The breakfast was very good. "The staff are extremely pleasant, helpful, friendly and kind. They were very informative and helped us make reservations. Fillipa is the greatest! The location has parking and is convenient for walking into Sintra and to the castles. Our room and bed was very comfortable. The breakfast in our room was one of the best experiences!"

"Rooms were clean and simple the town is what you expect from an old fishing town quaint and authentically Portuguese mixing old and young but do not underestimate the dining options there are plenty. The proprietors and staff at the Ericeira Soul guesthouse were lovely, friendly and informative. Breakfast which was included was good too! "
