"One of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed. I would come back to Sintra for the sole purpose of staying here. The attention to detail is amazing and the rooms are over the top fantastic. We were in room 2 and it’s mindblowingly beautiful. Loved the grounds, the peacocks, and breakfast. The staff is very accommodating and let us keep our car there after checkout so we could tour the sights during the day. "This hotel is clean and comfortable but not luxurious. The staff are friendly and helpful, most of them speak English. The bedroom was quite spacious, the bed comfortable and very clean, as was the shower room with plenty of hot water. The room did not have a fridge or a safe. Breakfast was a buffet. There was no hot food but plenty of choice of cold cuts, cheese, cereals, bread etc. It is quiet with nice views of Sintra and the surrounding villages."

"Room was bright, clean and well put together, but property the lacked a common indoor area, so we were cooked up in our room as it was drizzling throughout our stay. Property is located in a historical zone with vehicle restrictions meant short walk up hill on partial dirt road dragging our luggage to unrestricted area. Check in was via WhatsApp instructions. "I booked this because I thought it was cute but the pictures don't do it justice. I had stayed at a 5 star hotel during my stay in Portugal and I enjoyed this adorable Chalet just as much. The property had so much character and charm and I absolutely loved our room. It was very clean and well decorated. I just loved everything about this stay. Wish I could have stayed longer than one night. Will return someday and stay longer. "

"We stayed for 3 nights, the property itself is cozy, with a good use of space, however, access to the bedding area may be limited to able-bodied folks. We were given plenty privacy with access to the barbeque and private garden area. If we're ever in the area again, we'd absolutely stay here again."

"Absolutely the most beautiful view of the ocean and especially the sunset at the end of the day. The bedrooms were spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and up to date. The game room provided entertainment for everyone with a pool table, table tennis, foosball, checkers, chess, and many game boards. We are a family of 6 adults and a toddler and everyone had a wonderful week in Ericeira. "

Affordable hotel on outskirts of Sintra

"We had an amazing stay at this hotel. We arrived super early to see if we could have luggage storage but surprised to be able to check in early so big bonus and thanks. Walking distance to grocery stores and restaurants. Bus stop within 2 minutes of hotel (we had a car so didn’t use but considered taking into Sintra to avoid hunting for parking). They do offer breakfast (we didn’t use) and have a bar/restaurant available. The only negative was they didn’t have a small fridge or microwave in room but reception did heat some items for me that I bought from a local grocery. Staff very helpful and friendly. Free parking up top and if full can pay 3 euro to use underneath parking. Easy access to highway to see the sites we visited! Would stay here again. "
