"Stunning location with wonderful staff and service. The beach is tranquil with fantastic views of Spinalonga and the perfect place to relax. All of the staff go out of their way to help you have the perfect holiday. Only feedback would be to bring your own or buy tennis balls if you play as the balls from the hotel either get taken / lost ... with the balls left being too bad to play. Also... we did a photo shoot with the inhouse photographer... which was amazing! Her shop is downstairs in the basement and very easy to miss if you dont happen to go to the spa! Would be lovely to have this advertised! Otherwise... the PERFECT holiday. Massive thank you to all of the staff."

"Just had 5 nights at this hotel (late October) and it was wonderful. Busy enough to feel part of something, quiet enough so that there were no queues at all for food (which was plentiful, varied and delicious) and plenty of space in every area (poolside, restaurants, etc). Room was comfy, pools were lovely (if a little cold), sun loungers were plentiful, staff were great (my daughter and I did sunset yoga every day - bliss) and only a 25 minute taxi ride from Heraklion Airport. Deserves every one of it's 4 stars."

"Lovely hotel, main pool quite busy but the private beach was amazing with great beach bar and chilled music. We avoided the buffet and had incredible food at both the Cretan restaurant for breakfast and dinner and the Italian for dinner. Charming staff, just needs a minor rethink in bathroom as shower was narrow due to placement of soap holder. Overall a fantastic experience and would highly recommend and return "

"We had a fantastic stay at Royal Marmin although got off to a rocky start as we were shown to an unmade room and then substituted to a 'holding room' until they could allocate a sea view room the next day. Given it was our honeymoon, which we'd notified of beforehand, this was disappointing. The rest of the stay was great though. Lovely hotel in a great spot."

"Loved my bungalow on the sea with private pool. The large hotel swimming pool was also very beautiful. Easy access to the sea via sturdy ladders. Charming secluded nooks with lounge chairs and tables at different levels. Fantastic breakfast buffet. Water shuttle to multiple restaurants on the property. Enjoyed the delicious sushi and more at the exceptional seafront Sumosan Japanese restaurant, where glass floor panels offered a look into the fish and sea below us. Lovely landscaping. Attentive and caring staff. Interesting shops. I did not use the Six Senses Spa, but for those who are spa people, I don’t doubt it is as remarkable as everything else there. Many guests return regularly, and I definitely want to stay again. Highly recommend this very special getaway."
