"We were met by the owner on arrival & briefly showed around, we didn’t arrive until 1am so I’m not sure if he was tired but he was not very welcoming. The only welcome pack was 2 bottles of water, there was wine there but he advised this was €12 a bottle. He also advised that the gas to the cooker was turned off, so on a stove there were two rings for 10 people, which would never be enough. "Just back from a wonderful 10 days at Elounda Eleon Villas. Maria and Ilias are great hosts and Zetta a fantastic housekeeper who kept our villa spotlessly clean. Loved the location of our villa which had spectacular views to the sea. The pool was a welcome relief to the hot sun. The owners are lovely and make sure you have everything you need. We'll look forward to visiting again soon. "

"The spacious villa with fabulous views is good for a large group, with air conditioning throughout. However, in one bedroom, the air conditioning unit was leaking and when it was fixed, the unit outside made a loud noise, so we had to change bedroom to avoid waking others! The bathrooms are all in need of renovation - for this price, it's not OK to find broken shower fixtures and toilet seats that come detached. "Great Villa conveniently located - 10 mins downhill walk, from the centre of Elounda. The property enjoys an elevated position with stunning views over Elounda & the surrounding coast. The villa is located in a quiet cul de sac amongst residential properties - there is a steep access road leading up to the property, but it keeps you fit! "Some of the most spectacular views of anywhere we've ever stayed. Well appointed villa with amazing gardens and pools. Lots of different areas to sit and enjoy the sun, the kids loved the little pool! Elounda is a lovely little village and lots of great food recommendations provided by Anne too."

"The host Margarita is charming and friendly as is the village of Kalo Chorio. The villa itself is high up with stunning views and plently of room to sit around in the sun or shade. Be prepared for a little 'off road' experience when navigating the final road up. It's worth it."
