"While checking us into a room, the hotel person asked us to wait in the hall while he turned on the air conditioning. Within minutes of being welcomed inside, there were huge cockroaches coming out of the bathroom. They offered to switch our rooms (it was 10 pm after along travel day from another island), so we went to dinner. When we returned, everyone at bar/reception knew we were changing rooms.
