"Good for family (2 adults, 4 kids). Good location, 30 minute walk or 10-15 minute bus ride to the city centre. Clean apartment, some initial struggle with the front door key ‘technique’ but the video was helpful, could’ve done with a few more kitchen utensils / oven trays for self catering. Overall good, would stay again. "

"when we first used the shower the water was tepid/32, not comfortable but usable. The last 2 days we were there the water was too cold/28 to even take a shower and this was adjusted to the warmest setting. If it had been that cold when we got there I would have called so it could be fixed but it wasn't worth it 2 days before leaving. Also the door to the patio was very very hard to unlock and lock so as a result we simply didn't use it."

"Location excellent. And, photos accurately show current condition. The manager/owner and I have had a constructive dialogue which I hope will improve his property, specifically, buying new mattresses (as the current ones are soft and sinking), adding hangers to the wardrobe, adding hooks for damp towels to hang, and, fixing the leak from the bathroom that resulted in damp conditions in the larger of the two bedrooms. Manager/owner was responsive to my concerns and cooperative. "

"The location of Orwell Cottage couldn’t be more perfect. There are many great restaurants, grocery stores, bakeries and coffee shops right in the neighborhood. The Haymarket bus, train, tram hub is a five minute walk and getting to the city historic center is a doable walk. The Victorian elements of the cottage are unique and undeniable. When this unit was first rented it would be five star for any guest. This rental is showing quite a bit of wear which diminishes the experience. I will only...

"This beautiful, well appointed apartment was a delight to stay in. Soaring ceilings and luxurious window coverings evoked a grander time, yet the modern kitchen kept our experience well grounded in the present. Our host controlled the heat remotely and we asked that the temperature be raised. Unfortunately, as three seniors in our seventies and eighties, we continued to find the apartment quite cold."

"We stayed at Gayfield Place the last week of September. The house is an easy walk from the Picardy Place tram stop and very close to St James Square which is a large shopping mall. You can store your luggage at customer service for a reasonable fee if your flight arrives early.The house is lovely. Its an older home with beautiful molding. "The rooms all have large beautiful windows and we appreciated all the day light. It is a relatively quiet neighborhood with many shops and dining options. The apartment had a well stocked kitchen and there is a food market right next to the building which was so convenient. We were in the apartment for 9 days during the Fringe which was wonderful. "

"Absolutely immaculate lovely apartment. Well appointed and laid out. The bedrooms are cozy and comfy. Some street noise with Windows open but not significant, however, I would have appreciated some more sun blocking on the bedroom windows. One of the nicest VRBOs I've ever stayed in."
