"Stopped in for one night, check in was a breeze. Great security. We had a lovely view from our room on the second floor, which was a good size, and had a tea pot with the trimmings. The attached pub was brilliant, staff delightful and attentive. The food was delicious-dinner for us was an outstanding pea and mint soup and gorgeous chicken salad. But they had a varied and eclectic menu. Breakfast was included and was outstanding. The location is ideal-walking to the famous St.Andrews course, many stores and restaurants in close proximity to the hotel. Would highly recommend. "

"Though the hotel was not busy, we were put in what could only be described as a tiny children’s adjoining room, with a window so covered in bird poo it was impossible to see out of! Not what I have come to expect from a luxury hotel."

"I loved staying at The Dunvegan. First of all, the staff was outstanding. They were friendly and responsive. The hotel was clean, and my room was kept in prime condition. The breakfasts were yummy, and one night I ate in and the fish and chips were the best I've had. The hotel was central, so I could walk everywhere with ease. If I return to St. Andrews, The Dunvegan will be my first choice of where to stay. Thank you!"

"The staff at the Old Course go above and beyond. We were staying to celebrate the anniversary of our engagement, when we also stayed here. On both occasions the staff have gone out of their way to make each weekend truly special. The hotel itself is beautiful with great facilities and an unrivalled location. I also appreciate that they have gluten free bread meaning the breakfast has several gluten free options - in future it would be good if these options were even more extensive (e.g gf granola or pancakes/french toast etc.)"

"Excellent location. Clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay. My one quibble is that the front desk was not present when trying to check out early in the morning. Breakfast was delicious. Overall I had a very positive experience."

"We went for 4 nights golfing and the Hotel du Vin was a brilliant choice of where to stay. Short walk to the Old Course and perfect to walk to bars and restaurants in the evening. Parking was challenging as the town was very busy but once you find a space there is no need to move it until you leave ! Great staff, lovely room and perfect location, will 100% go back."

"Good to stop for a night or 2 max, lovely staff and average drink prices. 1 bathroom shared between all the rooms (heads up) and the same with the kitchen facility. Best place roundabout is Dans Goods in Guardbridge, good rolls! (bit of a walk if you don't drive - ps. Won't get food in the hotel)"
