"My husband and I had a lovely stay at Jim's place. We had our two dogs with us as well. The views were stunning as we were there in late November and it was already snowing. The fireplace made our entire stay very cozy. The kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed going on walks and runs and visited the town of Davis and had a great time at Stumptown Ales. We will definitely visit again! "

"Super comfortable and clean, with 4 large BRs. Combo living/ dining area. Reasonably appointed. Bit of a drive to Harper’s Ferry. Convenient to Shephardstown and Charles Town. "

"We had a really great weekend at the Chalet! This was the 1st time our group of guys had gotten together since the pandemic and it was great to just sit around the upstairs fireplace and catch up. The dining table was great for meals and board games. Plenty of beds and bedrooms as well. The hot tub was perfect!"

"We really enjoyed staying at this cabin. It was very clean and everything we needed was there for us. We enjoyed sitting in the hot tub right there on the deck. It was beautiful. Sitting out in the morning on the deck and watching golfers come by. The beds were very comfortable and our host was very responsive to any questions that came up. "Our overall impression of mountainous beauty cannot be understated. The amenities and charm of the small town of Davis harkens back to a forgotten time of simplicity and neighborly care. The nearbyhorseback trails and petting zoo provided a commune with the natural world that we craved in this colorful time of year and the close hiking trails and waterfalls are worth every step of the way.
