"This was a wonderful retreat from the general DC area. Communication with owner was perfect. Space nicely laid out with everything you need, and it is minutes from the artsy, small stores and intimate restaurants in town, Shepherd University, the path along the C and O Canal, the Sunday morning farmers market, and much more! Folks who live in Shepherdstown are naturally friendly, helpful, and so welcoming to visitors. A great place to chill or be more active and simply get a refreshing g break....

"The home was beautifully decorated & very clean. We arrived at 4:00 pm on Friday & unfortunately had to leave for a family emergency at home less than an hour later so never got to explore the town or property. "

The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and the couch was super cozy for cuddling at the end of the day. Would love to come back when it's warm for some summer activities!"
