"The bungalow room I stayed at had a urine smell the first day, which they came to mop but the smell was still there. I wasnt sure if it was the wood smell bc of all the moisture. Super friendly and kind staff. Perfect location to enjoy the beach and have food to be served. The food was decent and staff always welcoming with a smile."

"I enjoyed my stay at Yemaya. It is a BEAUTIFUL property and perfect for when you need a restorative reset. The staff are friendly and very accommodating. I enjoyed the food, beach, pool, and the yoga and meditation sessions. Be prepared for a bumpy ride to Corn Island but this of course contingent on the weather. The hotel arranges all of your transportation to and from the hotel which is very helpful! I would definitely stay here again and recommend you stay here too. You will not regret it. "

"Pretty property run by two lovely sisters from Toronto. Unfortunately, the property fails on some core missions. The "comfort double rooms" feature rather ascetic bedding and are not really set up for more than one person: the interior shutters and the bathroom door swing into the room making it very tight if not impossible to navigate at night. Also the cabins are poorly built for this climate; they are very hot and don't have any airflow or hot air ventilation. The overhead fans don't provide...
