"We stayed there for a week, and everything was ready and clean when we arrived. Each day, we were given two bottles of water, which was a nice touch. The pool and hot tub area were always clean and well-maintained, and there was never any noise after 10 p.m.—even before that, it was pretty quiet. The best part was being right on the beach with easy access. It made our stay really relaxing. "

"Really cool place. The property was gorgeous.. right on the beach! We saw staff constantly cleaning or tidying up. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. The Hotel is right on the beach and more than enough space for guests to spread out. We loved the chairs and table right outside our sliding glass door. That was nice for those beautiful sunrises/sunsets. The restaurant upstairs was delicious, some of the best food in town. The restaurant staff was also very nice, particularly the young man who was our server multiple nights. We enjoyed coffee in the morning from the cafe downstairs. My husband fly fished from the beach every morning/evening and it was “some of the craziest fishing he’s ever done” The location is perfect, right on the beach but close enough to town that we walked there everyday and didn’t feel the need to get a rental vehicle. My husband is already planning another trip back! We will most definitely recommend Playa Del Sol to anyone. Thank you for such an amazing and memorable Birthday! "

"Convenient location and great value"

"We really enjoyed the breakfast included with the room. It had nice traditional Mexican options as well as pancakes etc. We were a bit dissatisfied that there was nothing in the kitchenette to cook or eat with. Seemed pointless to have paid extra for the kitchenette if we could not even use it but there were many dining options nearby. The pool was also being redone when we were there and we weren't made aware of this at the time of booking and was one main reason for us booking there but I think that's not the fault of the hotel to tell us as we had booked through Expedia. Plus side is that they will now have a beautiful new pool. So if travelling soon call ahead to make sure it's completed if you want a pool. We would definitely stay here again. We chose this location/hotel for the secure parking and easy to find from the airport after dark. Staying downtown the parking can be more challenging and the streets a bit more confusing after dark. "

"Loved this place so much! The rooms are small and a little dated and no fridge but since the restaurant on site was so good and fair priced it wasn't much of an issue. The food and drinks are excellent. The beach is empty and peaceful. Water is super safe for swimming. You can even feel the hot spring water in the sand on the shoreline. Amazing. Will for sure stay here again"

"This place is fantastic. We went there for a baby moon. Highly recommended! The service was great! The chef is really great and made special wishes a reality. I’m definitely coming back. The access to the beach can’t be beat. The rooms were spacious and clean. Lots of pillows. They included kayaks, snorkel equipment, and their cabanas were not at extra charge. The service team was phenomenal! So kind, respectful, helpful and nice. "
