"The bed was comfortable and clean. Nice decor. Chairs were not comfortable, too low. Nobody on the premises during the night. No emergency phone numbers supplied. Very little in the way of literature about the area. Security of residents’ rooms was questionable. Members of the public had access to the stairs near the front door to the bar."

"Lovely stay at Meadhon House as part of a Borders exploration trip. Easy walking distance to Jedburgh Abbey and town centre. The room was beautifully furnished and very well appointed. Breakfast was very tasty with good options. Lovely warm welcome from Amanda and Rob - turns out it is a very small world indeed! We shall return if ever back in the area. "

"The cottage is very nice. It is on two levels, the kitchen/dining is down quite a steep staircase that I found difficult to negotiate. I'm nearly 70 and my daughter fast approaching 50, so not spring chickens! If you want to use the sofa as a bed there is a 35 pound charge for linen that isn't made clear when booking.
