"Our stay was beautiful! The castle is stunning, including the surrounding grounds. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a unique experience. My only 2 caveats: there’s weak cell signal within the hotel (but there is WiFi) and the location is a bit out of the way if you’re mainly sightseeing in the city centre. Uber will be rude about coming out here; one tried to guilt us into tipping more, claiming we had put the wrong address into our app. We preferred to use the taxi service the hotel is partnered with; Derek was incredible. The prices are nearly the same but the manners are much better. "

"A beautiful, comfortable clean space with excellent, helpful friendly staff. The hotel is set in beautiful countryside where the river Tweed runs at the bottom of the garden and the ruins of Dryburgh Abbey next door. There are walks to suit all straight from the front door."
