"Great location, clean and comfortable room, but only after booking room did I find out that the hotel is not staffed and I would have to call to get an entry code, which required borrowing a bartender's phone to make the call, since I didn't have phone service in Scotland. All this happened very late in the day on a Sunday, where a missed call could have meant nowhere to stay in a small town. They need to change the procedure or give fair warning through Expedia before booking."

"The room was spotless and you could tell a lot of thought had been put into it from the lovely selection of toiletries to the extras provided like ear plugs and make up remover towels. The breakfasts were lovely and the hosts were very friendly enquiring about our day and future plans. All in all a lovely stay"

"A lovely place to stay in the beautiful Scottish Borders. I was made very welcome and the two hosts went out of their way to help - offering advice on places to eat and willingly providing an early breakfast on the Sunday morning. Breakfast was excellent with all locally sourced fresh ingredients. Room was very comfortable, really clean and quiet. Would highly recommend Bellevue."

Thank you Central or ease of access to Berwick & Scotland or the scenic and varied Northumberland coast I remember as a child. We weren't able to use the rooftop area due to the weather but could see it would be an excellent area in summer. One thing we feel that needs to change is the disposal of rubbish. "The value and the ease of the place to find and get settled in was really good. It's a shame some other places need a good lick of paint. But please don't let this put off staying here. It deserves 5 stars all the way and the breakfast included is extremely good. Jade was very helpful in the choice at hand. Would I stay again? DEFINATELY. A very BIG THANK YOU."
