"Great hotel. Staff are friendly. Northern lights wake-up call was a nice touch. Food at the restaurant is expensive but the meals are really good. Definitely remote and need to have activities planned and some backup snacks, alcohol and necessities if you don’t want to pay for everything. But great relaxing stay. Access to the public pool was also nice. "

"No staff onsite. To check-in we were given a phone # to call for lobby and room key code access. No one answered the phone. Local Icelander helped because there was another hotel with same owner in the next town and she called them to help us with access code. Others had the same problem. One couple had to sleep in their car because they couldn’t get their access code via phone instructions either. "
