"Food, staff and room were great. All staff were pleasant and friendly and the meal I had was really good quality. The room was beautiful and a great size, separate seating area and huge bathroom with double shower. The noise behind my room however, was terrible, bottles and rubbish being emptied day and night (tried to sleep late afternoon following a long drive). "Great location to stay a couple of nights for a sad family occasion. Jasper on the front desk was great. Facilities are OK but not perfect. At breakfast even in non peak periods, basic items were missing and tables unkempt. However our room was spacious and we would stay again though not if we wanted to feel spoiled or as a particular treat. "

"We stayed on the ground floor room 016 and loved the cleanliness & child friendly & easily accessible areas like restaurant, playground, mini golf, kids disco. The dinner and breakfast were tasty and the staff friendly and helpful, mostly run by very young and polite people who would immediately check with manager if any problems or help needed. Great free internet everywhere on hotel premises. Will re-visit again. Thanks *****"

"Although a 3* Hotel, the service we received was more in keeping with a 5*. Our room was clean, free of dust and mould, loved the decor. The swimming pool was a huge attraction for my grandchildren and we were able to continue using the facilities after we had officially checked out. Food was well presented and good sized portion. "

"Value for money but very basic Was made aware that it had no bar/restaurant well in advance so that was OK. The absence of kettle/tea-making facilities in the room was a surprise. The place is fine, and the staff very helpful, but the place if suffering from neglect and appears to be old-fashioned. However for the price I was charged, it was OK."

"My stay was roughly what I was expecting. The rooms are a bit 'tired' but okay for the money. Biggest concern I had was that the hot water was far too hot, scalding hot in fact, manageable in the shower with the mixer tap but the basin had single taps so the temperature of the water was dangerous. Also the tap had a left handed action, which is bizarre."
