"The bedroom was well appointed with lovely Crabtree and Evelyn toiletries. There was large soft bath towels, tea making equipment, comfortable bed, TV, and nice lighting. Even though my room overlooked a busy road the room was very quiet I would definitely stay there again. "

"My stay was roughly what I was expecting. The rooms are a bit 'tired' but okay for the money. Biggest concern I had was that the hot water was far too hot, scalding hot in fact, manageable in the shower with the mixer tap but the basin had single taps so the temperature of the water was dangerous. Also the tap had a left handed action, which is bizarre."

"It was a quick and easy check-in… I prepaid via third party and had to pay for additionally for parking that I wasn’t aware of before, even though I was attending a training event the day after. Dining was ok. Had the bar menu and a glass of wine, was asked if I wanted to pay to my room and I said yes. I got a call later and was disturbed in my room to pay as the check-in didn’t take a card number. Breakfast was a good assortment of fruit, toast, cooked etc"

"Value for money but very basic Was made aware that it had no bar/restaurant well in advance so that was OK. The absence of kettle/tea-making facilities in the room was a surprise. The place is fine, and the staff very helpful, but the place if suffering from neglect and appears to be old-fashioned. However for the price I was charged, it was OK."
