My first choice now when I’m in the country to visit family in the area. The Keele university campus is nice to walk around and there’s a grocery store within walking distance on campus."

"Our second stay at The Moat House, the staff are wonderful, the rooms are spacious, the are dog friendly. The decor is sympathetic to the period building. A couple of negatives, despite asking for advice I couldn’t get the room warm enough during the night. The hotel is popular for wedding/ birthday events, unfortunately some other residents aren’t as considerate, who let their children run and down the corridor at 1am. That’s not the hotel’s fault but it did mean we didn’t sleep too well. Fortunately the excellent breakfast and service helped to make up it "
