"When you first pull up, the hotel doesn't look all that attractive. The front desk people are very friendly. If you know Portuguese it helps. "This hotel is a dump like no other. Having booked a superior room I was given a basic room in the basement with no window. Upon complaining, I was sent to a second room which was also basic and windowless. Finally, I got a "superior" room as in the published pictures but it was half-buried (see picture). "Infelizmente foi uma decepção. O quarto só possui ar condicionado no quarto que é velho e funciona mal. O vento vai só em uma direção que é em cima de uma das pessoas na cama de casal. O banheiro estava imundo, com aranhas e mosquitinhos. Tivemos que pagar a roupa de cama e banho, porém a tolha de piso estava encardida.
