"A nice room for an overnight stay. Bed was comfortable, room was large, and overall clean. The hot tub was a nice touch - make sure you call to reserve the tub. The “porch” is simply some chairs on the walkway in front of the room by where the cars park - not a private area. Easy walk to the lake and beautiful walking path around the lake. Lots of shopping and food options nearby."

"Great experience! Location is perfect, one block from town center and beachfront, you are in the middle of the action. Alana was awesome ! She welcome me after check-in time and gave me a free upgrade to a whole apartment on the upper floor to enjoy more quiet time. She was responsive to every request, handled laundry quickly and made my stay really pleasant. I definitely recommend this place if you look for great value for money, clean bedrooms and great customer service. "

"Second time staying here and although the weather was, again, less than great, it was still a great time and the units and overall space are still really well maintained. Surat Bay is accessible and, further along, so is cannibal bay. Owaka nearby is also a lovely spot for an hour or two, with a solid restaurant, great coffee place, superb book shop and quaint little museum and community space. It is a beautiful spot, far from the world where all you'll hear are birds, the sea and wind moving...
