"Lovely old hotel in the heart of the theatre district. Walking distance to all of the Broadway venues. Good food all around. The city was jackhammering the streets up over night the week we stayed but the hotel graciously moved us to a rear room with no issues. Nice and quiet. "

"My husband and I stayed two nights while in town to see a play. The staff were helpful, the rooms were clean. The Revel and Rye restaurant had good food. We requested a room on a higher floor to cut down on noise and were very comfortable. We would stay again! "

"This hotel's location can't be beat if you are in NYC for theater. The neighborhood has tons of restaurants of all types & price ranges, access to markets, drug stores, and public transportation to JFK. The hotel is newly renovated, the rooms are large by New York standards, and the staff are great."

"Great hotel in a very central location. Subway line right outside, walking distance to Central Park and Times Square. From the door staff to reception and the cleaners every member of staff we came in contact with was very friendly and helpful. The room itself was a great size. Huge comfortable bed. The view wasn’t great as we just faced an internal courtyard and essentially looked onto other peoples rooms, but the hotel did seem busy and had we paid for a more expensive room I’m sure we’d have got one with a better view. However, the fact we weren’t faced onto a busy street meant it was very quiet in our room. The elevators left a lot to be desired as there were huge queues everytime we came to use them, but this was highlighted on previous reviews and mentioned in the room welcome card that they are refurbishing them so hopefully within time they will improve. The only thing lacking was a refrigerator in the room. This could have been requested if we had a medical need for it, but just to keep drinks and snacks cool would have been very useful. They do have an ice machine on each floor which came in handy as a substitute for keeping drinks cold. All in all I would stay again and would recommend. "
