"I booked 3 rooms for a group of us attending a funeral in Southampton. This hotel was available and convenient for the service and wake. Couldn't fault the hotel. A beautiful old building set in picturesque grounds. Big room too"

"Like this hotel having stayed before. The room was very comfortable and generally quiet although we did get an early wake up (before 06.00) due to refuse collection but it has to be done. The only points we were not particularly impressed with was that the bathroom bin had not been emptied before we arrived and contained used sanitary products. Also, for the price we would have expected the bed to be made and it wasn't."

"Overnight stay with work. Friendly staff throughout, clean and tidy everywhere. Used the gym, pool and sauna, all excellent. Great nights sleep in a comfy bed. Nice buffet breakfast. Only small criticism is the evening meal and service could be better."

"Beyond our expectations usually stay in travel lodge so this was a change From checking in to checkout the staff were exceptional. Beds were excellent great sleep great quality and breakfast included. Our dog loved it as we took her on a walk in the woods . Will definitely be back. "
