"Lovely staff,very clean,comfortable bedrooms,ideal for dog owners with a dog exercise paddock. The room was very warm. Dinner ok but nothing to write home about. Just convenient if you are staying there. Definitely would stay again."

"Very comfortable hotel and breakfast was great - location wise very pretty overlooking the weir and pond. Be aware though that if there is very heavy rain some of the paths leading up to the hotel can flood but once you are over that it’s great. Staff were good as well can get busy at dinner time"

"I had a wonderful stay at the Cromwell Arms recently. The room was clean and comfortable, with plenty of towels and amenities. The breakfast was wonderful with plenty of choice, and the restaurant staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to Romsey and conveniently located in the area. Highly recommended!"

"Great location, close by to a retail park, good breakfast, the only downside was the cleanliness not great, found hair in bed on first night so I didn’t look further……, and not all of the reception staffs can smile. A little expensive for dog stay, £15 per and no special treatment?"

"I was staying for a weekend, on my own. The hotel is beautiful, the room was comfortable with lovely views and a modern bathroom, the service was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is a nice 5k route around the countryside, with a map at reception. The only negative was that it was a little cold in my room, but the outside temperature was -6C, and I was offered an extra duvet, which helped! The bar and restaurant both had an open fire. Overall, I had a lovely stay."
