"I can't recommend Hotel Mondschein enough. It's ideally placed if you're in Innsbruck for the Christmas markets, with stunning views over the river and the Christkindlmarkt. The rooms are lovely and the breakfasts first rate, but by far the best thing about it is the staff. They're all so friendly and helpful. We stay at the Mondschein every time we visit Innsbruck."

"This hotel is a bit on the dated side. While the price was very reasonable and the staff was very helpful, it did feel a bit run down and tired. If you are a budget conscious traveler then likely this will fit the bill as it is safe and quite reasonably priced for the area. To be fair we were there in the shoulder season and maybe everything gets tidied up for the ski season. "Once you get inside, check in then things really pick up. Surprising in a way. The outside is very deceptive. You are sure you made a wrong choice then, get into your room check in and it’s pretty surprisingly GOOD. The TV is something straight out of the 80s, but who stays in a hotel for that. The breakfast is outstanding I mean outstanding. Great value for the money. I’d have to say it’s a quality hotel close to the main terminal. We would certainly recommend it. We would stay here again."

"Great stay. The breakfast is good and the folks working there are really nice. The only downside is that there is no A/C, so we actually took the mattress out to the patio and slept outside. It was SO hot inside. "
