When we checked in we found that we were booked for a “Garden Unit,” meaning a boat parked on the grass several meters away from any water. Your view from such a unit will likely be weeds, not water. "We loved staying on this houseboat! It was spacious and beautifully decorated. I have a weak stomach but the very VERY subtle movement of the boat didn’t bother me, I actually found it soothing. Bring motion sickness meds if you’re worried and you won’t have any issues, I didn’t even need them! I’ll miss it and would definitely stay again!"

"Where else can you stay in a houseboat in the middle of the city? It is definitely a fun adventure. A few things to know: if you or anyone in your group has mobility issues this place is not for you. Steep stairs. Also you are in the city. It isn’t quiet. The hosts kindly leave earplugs but we sleep with white noise so not an issue for us. The kitchen is more of a Kitchenette. Great storage for clothing given it’s a houseboat. Management was quick to respond to questions. "

"We traveled to Paris with a group of 6, including 2 kids, which made finding a place to stay difficult. The houseboat on the Seine fit all of us perfectly, and with more amenities than we would have found in a hotel. We loved being close to the Louvre, Champs Élysées, Place Vendôme shopping, and easy walking distance to the Eiffel Tower. Staying in the houseboat was such a unique experience for our family trip and we would absolutely stay again!"

Location is outside of the city center but it was good to be near the windmills, have the use of the boat and the bikes which we would not have had if we had been in the city center. "Thoroughly enjoyed our 2-night stay here, it was the perfect spot for some rest and recuperation following watching some of the Euros. Axel was very helpful and informative, ensuring our stay would be perfect and without any hiccups. With Aldi just a short walk around the corner we could pop out to get groceries easily to cook on the boat. The rooms were good sized given the size of the boat, the bathroom was clean and the shower was good. Would highly recommend if staying in the area."
