"Location is perfect, hotel in good condition, room a bit small, but ok. On the downside, they did not clean my room on the second day, even though the cleaning lady saw me leaving when she was cleaning the room next to mine and we even exchanged "hellos"."

"Small friendly motel on the shore of a beautiful lake and fjords nearby, just outside Haugesund. Ideal if you are passing through. Cosy main reception and lounge/breakfast/diner area with fireplace a small bar, home cooked meal available. Typical motel with rooms lined up outside, fully functional internet and ample parking. Lovely change from a city or town centre stay, enjoyed a nice walk before diner and an early night."

"This is basically a camping site with a few buildings with rooms in them. It is not a motel. Facilities for kids are very good and its an excellent place for them to meet new playmates from all over Europe. Small supermarket on site quite expensive. Rooms have wi-fi and a small TV. No fridge, air con or tea making facilities. Rooms are pretty basic but clean. One other thing, towels and bedding cost extra. Breakfast was included and was adequate."

"The landlords (Sue and Craig) were exceptional hosts … the property is located in an amazing location … the surrounding area is full of interesting activities … and if the weather cooperates, the dark sky star watching is truly amazing … we will definitely visit again , and would whole heartedly recommend this place … a great visit 10 out of 10 … "

"Beautiful room, great bathroom, stunning views. Haven’t commented on the staff because I didn’t see anyone, it was easy self check in and parking without any issue. It’s a multi purpose building and the hotel is 2 floors up, it’s done very well and it felt very secure. Just be aware that there is no lift so carrying heavy bags up is a bit of an ordeal. My only little moan is the first photo on Expedia of this hotel is of a beautiful building on a mound, titled “view of the city from hotel”....

"I loved how easy it was to check in and out. It was spacious and the bed was pretty comfy. Having room service available late at night was great. It is also located in a great area, you can walk to nearby restaurants. There is a Polish restaurant with great drinks steps away. I will definitely make a reservation here again."

Amazing view, Amazing service

"I have wanted to stay here for years and the experience lived up to my high expectations. I paid extra for a city view room and it was worth it! - the view was amazing! The service I received from everyone was great too, the team really went out of their way. I was able to check in slightly early, got a complimentary drink and a nice personal touch to my room. I will be back!"
