"Had a lovely staff at Refugio Lodge, all the staff I met was friendly and welcoming. Pool was nice and refreshing after a day of being out. Refugio is ideally located in the heart of Tama so location was perfect for both beach and nightlife. Breakfast being included was great as this town could be as expensive as NY price-wise, yes New York. Agustin was helpful and always easy to reach via WhatsApp. Thank you to everyone at Refugio for making my stay great."

"We stayed in there BOHO Tamarindo for 5 nights. We loved the staff including Sniler, Edward, Juan and Gilbert. It is a simple place with 8 basic rooms and house. Has a small pool and some shared living space. It is in great location for walking to Tamarindo. You have access to Langosta Beach Club included. Worst part is that there is construction going on in the lots surrounding the property."
