The only issue we had was with the heater, I couldn't figure out how to easily adjust it so at 4am each morning the temps got unbearably warm. I never had the time nor occasion to address it with the owners but if I had, I'm sure they would have addressed it quickly."

"This is an older home that has been renovated and it isn’t as upscale as it appears in listing. Excellent appliances, big eat-in kitchen, but no central heat. The room heaters took 18 hours to get to 75 degrees because the house was so cold for our January stay in a rainy week. Uncomfortable sofa and that’s the only seating in living room. No instructions for TV, appliances or check out. No vanity or counter space in bathroom for our cosmetic bag and shaving kit. No dressers, no luggage racks,...

"This is a great location, walking distance from Nisene Marks Park (redwoods) and the Aptos Village with nice market and restaurants. Beautiful Sea Cliff Beach is a longer walk, or 5 minute drive. The back deck looks over forest and feels secluded and there are lots of big windows looking out that direction too. The hosts live on the property, which turned out fine. They were very helpful when we had a few small requests. The front of the property is tighter than it appears in the listing photo....
