"Great hotel, nice facilities (not very kids friendly) very good restaurant. For dinner, the restaurant has nice food, but for the price you can get better food in downtown Cartagena. Everyone was very nice, you can easily walk to downtown Cartagena and run around the peninsula with sea view (5km circuit) A very relaxing hotel with great ocean view rooms."

"I enjoyed the friendliness of the staff and concierge. Everyone was extremely helpful , kind and accomdating with some request. What i didnt like is the persistence of us paying before check out. We overheard another staff member informing another couple they can pay at check out while we were not given that same option. And our hotel seemed to be more than what we were quoted on Expedia without incidentals. "

"Friendly staff. Loved how clean the property was. Well maintained. Loved seeing after every meal the cleaning process started. Done well ! Beach clean and safe. Security always around. Well lit at night. Lots of birds and palm trees. Loved the quiet adult only pool. Nice jazz music at breakfast and in the main desk sitting area. Highly recommend this all inclusive resort. "

"The property was beautiful, small but beautiful. There were no washcloths in room had to ask each time. Staff very helpful and nice. Very accommodating as well. Breakfast was like continental breakfast but with eggs to order. No meat options at all. Very cozy nice stay. Overall, very wonderful stay would definitely stay again. "

"The staff were amazing from beginning to end. My Spanish is not that great but I made it through. The pools were cleaned every single day. The breakfast was sprawling and fresh. The culture, the natives were world class. Cartagena owes me nothing! I will go back here a million more times. My suggestions are, take a trip to the Old City, Getsemani and do a tour of Cartagena with Chocolate Tourism. What an amazing trip for my daughter, she could not stay out of that pool. All 5 stars for me...

"Hotel las Americas is a very nice hotel, lots of pools to chose from. Proximity to the airport makes this a great place to stay. Some of the rooms are a bit outdated, we had to call to have the water pressure and hot water adjusted twice and they responded right away. Otherwise, we truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again. "

"For the price it's a great hotel, clean, good service, good breakfast, the restaurant could have better food options for the day. It is "far" and not that "easy" walk to downtown Cartagena, but it's very close to the airport. Again, all th staff was great, and it was very clean, pool has games for kids, and there is also a kid's area. Right outside there is a 2km nice circuit to run Moving in taxi is very easy and accessible "

"A really great breakfast, made to order. Very spacious family room. One block from the walled city. However, the worst bathroom lighting in the history of hotels. I had to bring a flashlight into the shower to read the various soap/shampoo dispensers."
