"I’m sorry to submit a bad review. The young lady who checked led me in was excellent and very helpful. I was surprised to see that there were many people who appeared to be hanging out around the hotel, almost as though this is a homeless shelter but the price was so low, I should have anticipated the atmosphere. I understand that there may be financially challenged people in the neighborhood who need a place to stay. I’m just passing through so I’m here for only here for a quick nights sleep before resuming my trip and I am not familiar with this part of the country did not feel comfortable sleeping on the sheets-they were either not clean or they were just stained but I covered my spot with a towel and slept uncovered in my clothes. I could have sworn I saw 3 stars on the Expedia listing but I could be mistaken. I would definitely only give one or 1/2 star because it’s kind of a scary place for a senior citizen woman traveling by myself. I’m so sorry, I should have known that “you get what you pay for” but the young lady at the desk was wonderful. I’m actually hoping she is safe here at work. Im sure they clean well but I’m just turned off by the area. So sorry. You don’t need to post my review. I think I just booked hastily sight unseen. Thank you!"

"This was my first stay at Wyndham Gardens and it was a great experience. All areas were very clean and the employees were extremely friendly. Markayla, the bartender at the bar and grill, was very friendly and nice to everyone. I would definitely stay here again. "

"Check-In staff were all excellent; very friendly and personable. Lobby area was clean and presentable. My room was very clean and comfortable. Housekeeping was attentive and friendly. My only negative was the condition of the elevator. It functions, but could use a refresh. I was somewhat disappointed that the continental breakfast was moved to the neighboring hotel. The other time I stayed here the breakfast was in this hotel and it was much nicer than next door. Not a big deal. I really like the location as I can walk to restaurants downtown. I would recommend this hotel to friends (but I would warn them about the elevator lol). "

"POOL WAS NOT HEATED! That was the main attraction for us to stay at that hotel. PHONE DID NOT WORK. SERIOUS ISSUES. I WOULD LIKE A DISCOUNT.!"
