"We went for a short ski weekend in the area. We had a blast! The house was perfectly located for everything that we wanted to do. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and the couch was super cozy for cuddling at the end of the day. Would love to come back when it's warm for some summer activities!"

"This was a wonderful retreat from the general DC area. Communication with owner was perfect. Space nicely laid out with everything you need, and it is minutes from the artsy, small stores and intimate restaurants in town, Shepherd University, the path along the C and O Canal, the Sunday morning farmers market, and much more! Folks who live in Shepherdstown are naturally friendly, helpful, and so welcoming to visitors. A great place to chill or be more active and simply get a refreshing g break....

"Cute house! House totally remodeled everything seems new! Only things that I could complain about is the road the house is on is alittle busy and heater wasn't the greatest. A couple recommendations a bigger sofa like a sectional, and maybe a table and chairs for the deck out back. Definitely would stay at this place again!"

"We were lucky enough to call this our home for several weeks in June and July. It was the perfect place for our family to spend some time together during a transition. The property is full of history and comfort and literally has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Sarah was extremely responsive and more than accommodating. If we are ever back this way we would love to stay again!"
