"The TV in our room never worked properly. I told the front desk the first day and asked again. No one ever came to check the TV. It was out of focus. Also, the site advertised free breakfast and a pool; there was no breakfast at all… not even coffee in lobby and the pool was drained. The staff did not offer alternatives to breakfast even though there was a place attached to one part of the hotel. I thought it was closed. My room was clean but the stairs and outside was not swept and sloppy....

"The Hyatt is in a great location if you want to walk a lot of Charleston. It is about half an hour walk from the waterfront. There are a lot of different restaurants and bars on the street that it is located. The staff was very friendly and I would definitely stay here again if I return someday!"

This is our 2nd stay, besides the old elegance with all amenities you could ask for, including a great Restaurant upon entering the hotel lobby and the Pavilion poolside rooftop bar on the 6th floor, the location gives you easy walking to any restaurant of your choosing or nighttime entertainment. Great place and we'll be back!"
