"We really enjoyed our stay. Kitchen fully stocked, having 2 bathrooms was great. View of the marsh beautiful. Stairs up but that was not a problem for us. Of note, would need to drive to Folly Beach which is a fabulous beach - wide and with a complete fishing pier and related beach stores nearby. We had a small issue with the bathroom and it was taken care of right away. Appreciated the communication with owner. Would stay again! "

"The property was nice and roomy. The property was advertised as being handicap accessible. It was not. Wheelchair and walkers could not fit into the bathrooms. Toilets were too low for someone that was limited in mobility. The beds were too soft for an elderly person and not easy to get out of. We had to bring in a chair for our elderly family member to sit in and had to add a handicap toilet seat and there were no hand holds in the bathrooms or showers. It was so nice to sit in the living room each morning while having our coffee telling stories about the night before. Salty Dogs is a great hole in the wall to start your nightly adventures.
