Planters Inn

4.5 star property
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (1004)
"A charming hotel right in the midst of it all. The rooms were lovely with great amenities. The hotel lacks extras when compared to the larger ones - a gym, a cocktail lounge, etc. the restaurant is not open for lunch and while the concierge was great when we saw her, there was often no one at the desk and the front desk staff were less informed. Overall we liked the Inn quite a bit but will probably try something else next time. "

Wentworth Mansion

5.0 star property
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (154)
"We absolutely loved our stay and wished we could have stayed longer. The mansion is beautiful with so much history and our room was very comfortable and surprisingly quiet. The bath was wonderful especially with a fireplace right there. We ate at the restaurant which was incredible- had the two tasting menus which was so fun and highly recommended. Parking is a breeze. But would have to say the best part was the lovely gentleman that checked us in as he’s a gem! Would highly recommend staying at...

Days Inn by Wyndham Charleston Historic District

2.0 star property
6.2 out of 10, (1004)
"The TV in our room never worked properly. I told the front desk the first day and asked again. No one ever came to check the TV. It was out of focus. Also, the site advertised free breakfast and a pool; there was no breakfast at all… not even coffee in lobby and the pool was drained. The staff did not offer alternatives to breakfast even though there was a place attached to one part of the hotel. I thought it was closed. My room was clean but the stairs and outside was not swept and sloppy....
