"We absolutely loved our stay and wished we could have stayed longer. The mansion is beautiful with so much history and our room was very comfortable and surprisingly quiet. The bath was wonderful especially with a fireplace right there. We ate at the restaurant which was incredible- had the two tasting menus which was so fun and highly recommended. Parking is a breeze. But would have to say the best part was the lovely gentleman that checked us in as he’s a gem! Would highly recommend staying at...

Days Inn by Wyndham Charleston Historic District

2.0 star property
6.2 out of 10, (1004)
"The TV in our room never worked properly. I told the front desk the first day and asked again. No one ever came to check the TV. It was out of focus. Also, the site advertised free breakfast and a pool; there was no breakfast at all… not even coffee in lobby and the pool was drained. The staff did not offer alternatives to breakfast even though there was a place attached to one part of the hotel. I thought it was closed. My room was clean but the stairs and outside was not swept and sloppy....

The Restoration

"I just returned home from The Restoration today and I absolutely LOVED my stay. Despite having to wheel our own suitcase to our room and a basic check-in greeting & check-out process, I will definitely stay at The Restoration again. I booked the Signature Suite, which was super spacious, including one and a half bath and a living area with a 2nd TV. We were contacted a few days before arrival by Matthew and we agreed to a charcuterie basket and white wine upon arrival and it didnt...

The Spectator Hotel

9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (871)
"We love everything about the hotel. From the time we arrived-from the valet, check-in staff butler staff, cleaning staff and the bartenders-everyone was so friendly and helpful. Butlers,Jim and Will, were very informative on things to do/places to eat. Will was a hoot-he made us laugh every time we saw him. I’ve been to many hotels across the world and this is at the top for sure! We thought you guys may have gone to Japan to get your service training. We cannot complain about anything. We...
