"My bride and I wanted a quick get-away to Charleston. We have been visiting Charleston for many years but our first time through VRBO / Airbnb. The booking process was easy. The room was clean and the property was safe. The room was small but very comfortable. The Nicholas is perfectly located to most of the attractions and restaurants. Short walk to Kings Street, the Market, shops, historic tours, etc. Price and staff were very responsive. We will stay again. Phil and Susie"

"The room and common areas are exactly as pictured - beautiful and clean. The price was great for the location and check-in was easy. There are plenty of snacks in the lobby available throughout the day and the breakfast sandwiches hit the spot. My only complaint is that the description does not include the fact that this place is listed in many a Charleston Haunts books and they play up the “historical” nature of eerie events with descriptions in each of the rooms. "Took a chance as we always stay at the Bennett or Charleston place but this was a 3 day trip. We couldn’t be any happier with our choice. It’s newly redone property. Quiet, excellent pool, extremely clean. Price , the manager was a pleasure! Overall we will be back. Location is perfect for the College"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and everything was in excellent shape. Only problem we had was that we never received our check-in email with access codes and there is no one on the premises to help. I was able to call the VRBO number and get the email re-sent thankfully which allowed us to get into the unit."
